Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Product Manager, primarily remote but based in Sofia, Bulgaria. The role requires occasional on-site collaboration with our CEO, so proximity to Sofia is essential. You will own the vision and delivery of the Hostify platform and its associated apps, working closely with engineering, design, and customer success to build products our users love.
This role reports directly to the CEO, giving you a short feedback loop, high visibility, and the opportunity to shape product direction at the executive level from day one.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Hostify platform and mobile apps.
- Translating customer insights and business goals into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Prioritizing and managing the product backlog, ensuring the team is always working on the highest-impact initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with engineering and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Gathering and synthesizing customer feedback to continuously improve the product experience.
- Tracking key product metrics and using data to inform decisions and measure success.
- Acting as the internal champion for the product, aligning stakeholders across the organization.
- Working with AI tools with a proactive approach to integrating them into product workflows, from research and analysis to writing specifications and synthesizing customer feedback.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a Product Manager role, ideally within a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Comfort working with API-driven products and third-party integrations, with the ability to write clear integration requirements and collaborate effectively with engineering on complex connectivity challenges.
- Proven experience managing and delivering mobile app products.
- Proficiency with product roadmapping and backlog management tools such as Jira, Linear, or Productboard.
- Experience working with Figma to collaborate with design teams on wireframes, prototypes, and product specifications.
- Familiarity with customer feedback and engagement tools such as Intercom, Hotjar, or equivalent platforms, with the ability to translate user insights into product decisions.
- Hands-on experience managing mobile app releases via App Store Connect and Google Play Console, with a solid understanding of iOS and Android release processes.
- Experience leading or managing a cross-functional product team.
- Strong ability to translate complex problems into clear product solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide product decisions.
- Must be a fast learner, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Must be a team player with a collaborative, low-ego approach.
- Experience in the travel or short-term rental industry is an advantage.
